The Gantry 1300 die-sinking EDM machine from OPS Ingersoll is a compact EDM gantry solution for medium to large tool and mould making. Thanks to the proven gantry principle, this spark erosion machine in gantry design is as accessible as possible. The workpiece to be eroded can be easily placed on the clamping table by crane. The possibility of clamping several workpieces for EDM increases the flexibility of the Gantry 1300.
The standard version of the Gantry 1300 is equipped with a linear electrode changer, with which even larger electrodes can be changed automatically. Alternatively, a plate electrode changer is available for this gantry EDM machine. Two different filter systems for cleaning the dielectric are basically available for the Gantry 1300. A pressure-monitored, semi-automatic filter system, which allows the filter to be changed during EDM, and a fully automatic backflush filter system, with which only the pre-dried EDM sludge needs to be disposed of.
The proven Ingersoll AC servo drive, together with a 32-bit CNC control, forms the basis for high EDM performance and high-precision spark erosion. The linear guide of the die-sinking EDM machine is based on a roller recirculating unit which, together with the central lubrication, ensures maintenance-free EDM and a long service life for the EDM machine.
The purchase of a used, reconditioned EDM machine is therefore always a cost-effective alternative, without any loss of quality in EDM. We have decades of experience in the field of EDM and are the right contact if you want to buy a used die-sinking EDM machine.
